NYE Sydney 2020 to Go Ahead. The NSW Tourism Minister has given his approval for the Sydney New Years Eve 2020 celebrations to go ahead. Sydney Council has the final say and is working on plans. It is understood there will be changes including some tinkering with the fireworks. Could there be more light shows? Let’s hope so!
