The Dorchester NYE tips
Some of the Team were pleased to visit this fab venue in St Kilda for a bite of breakfast, some coffees and to tryout some mocktails. The venue is open at the front with the cafe set sitting facing The Esplanade and looking straight across to Luna Park or down to Acland St to the left and the beach to the right.
Then once inside the essence of the "Dorchester" is revealed with plush dining settings in 2 adjoining rooms. Bold with grand mirrors and lighting even though the team were there for breakfast it can be easily seen to be a marvelous place for a NYE dinner.
The meals were generous and the staff courteous. The meals our team had showed creativity, colour and taste by the chefs. Then the mocktails allowed some more creativity as the Dorchester team tried a few different options out on our team! We love mocktails during the day as they refresh and revitalise the palate and the head!
We can't wait to hear how the New Years Eve dining experience goes for the Dorchester. There is no doubt it will be a hit! And a great way to see of the old year and to kick into the new year!

Dorchester Location:
Right opposite the big mouth entrance of Luna Park in St Kilda. It has a Tram stop right outside and just a short stroll to the St Kilda beach or to the famous Acland St.

Plenty of options on accommodation in St Kilda or just a short tram ride back into South Melbourne or the city hotels.
Car Parking and drop off tips:
St Kilda Esplanade area can be tricky with car parking as there are many permit zones. But there is paid parking right outside this venue in The Esplanade with about $14 being the price for all day. No problems with dropping off right out front if coming by limo or taxi!
