Bohemian Bar & Restaurant NYE Ideas
The Bohemian is situated on the south side of the Yarra at South Wharf in Melbourne’s Southbank area. The NYE Team visited for some dining and drinks to see what was on the menu coming up to New Year’s Eve. The team were welcomed by the host and shown to a table. The first impression is that this is a Spanish theme restaurant and has a food menu inspired as such. It’s actually in a great location that is busy and bordered by many other restaurants which makes for a very lively atmosphere.
Bohemian is not far from the waters edge of the Yarra River and you can dine out the front and enjoy the sun. Or you can dine inside aswell where you may be forgiven for thinking you’d flown across to Spain. The team got some refreshing sangria and then an entree of seared scallops, bikini toastie and pork belly. Followed by great specials dishes of chicken and braised short ribs followed by the seared duck breast.
The NYE team were pretty full and very satisfied. And would welcome coming back to this restaurant for NYE. Muchas gracias Bohemian!

Located at South Wharf in Melbourne in a great location to see fireworks. It can be busy with many restaurants near by.

South Wharf has accommodation options and that would be the best idea. Otherwise just over the Yarra in the Melbourne CBD there are plenty of options for stay.
Car Parking and drop off tips:
South Wharf car parking is available but will fill quickly. You can arrive at this venue by Water Taxi and also cabs or Limos will be bale to drop off in the South Wharf shopping area.
