Will be in Tassy from Xmas thru to Jan. Anything there for NYE. Will probably be in Hobart but everything's close in Tas.

I'm also heading to Perth for NYE but doesn't look like much is happening! Get a move on Perth!

Is byron going to be doing any fireworks? Last time I went nothing happened and few people even realised it was midnight. . . .2004 was the best year but it's died since then.

We are from the UK and will be arriving in Sydney on 30th Dec, and are still deciding between a cruise or the Opera bar on NYE. Any other suggestions would be welcome too!

Im tossing up between Byron Bay or Melbourne. Anyone know any good Hotels on Melbourne near the water? We want a good view of fireworks etc :)

Does Perth suck or what. Are there any events there? 
Me and 5 girlfriends are looking to travel over there but not if there is nothing.

We are arriving in Sydney in November from the uk and have no idea of what to do nye!! We want to party on bondi! any ideas?

Any ideas for a great 2007 new years eve? Am willing to stay somewhere in a hotel etc if need be, willing to travel, and am happy to buy tickets to somewhere. Was bored at a bbq last year and would like to spice things up! Dont mind going out to a wine region or spa country or whatever!! Need Inspiration and help!
