Is byron going to be doing any fireworks? Last time I went nothing happened and few people even realised it was midnight. . . .2004 was the best year but it's died since then.

We are from the UK and will be arriving in Sydney on 30th Dec, and are still deciding between a cruise or the Opera bar on NYE. Any other suggestions would be welcome too! |

Any ideas for a great 2007 new years eve? Am willing to stay somewhere in a hotel etc if need be, willing to travel, and am happy to buy tickets to somewhere. Was bored at a bbq last year and would like to spice things up! Dont mind going out to a wine region or spa country or whatever!! Need Inspiration and help!
