For the free events Brisbane's biggest New Year's Eve celebration is at South Bank's Parklands. The entire South Bank precinct is transformed for the Streets New Year's Eve Party, where up to 80,000 revelers are set to celebrate from 3pm.
Live music, an all-ages dance party, free movies, a fairground and, of course, the two spectacular fireworks displays at 8:30pm and midnight on the Brisbane River, are sure to get everyone in a party mood.
